Taghvim Rooz application is an elegant persian calendar designed for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Our goal is to provide the modern Iranian calendar (Solar Hijri calendar) which is now the official calendar in Iran and Afghanistan through a subtle frontend as well as many functions that might useful for all those who are looking for a persian or hijri shamsi calendar.
Taghvim Rooz also provides the exact time and date of the Persian New Year which occurs on the vernal equinox (Spring equinox) and is determined by astronomical observations made in Tehran and coincides with March 21st of the Gregorian calendar.
Taghvim Rooz has different names such as Jalali, Iranian (Iran), Hijri Shamsi (Solar Hejri), Taghvim, Farsi calendar and so on.
